04/2026 - We want to invite public feedback for the Module 2 of the “Environmental Sustainability Guideline” and “Circularity Guideline”, dealing with a few additional metrics. We will use this feedback to further improve and enhance the guidelines. We sincerely thank all participants in advance.

01/2026 - We are excited to share that the final version of the six Chem‑X guidelines for a (Digital Material Passport) DMP is now published.​

11/2025 - We want to invite public feedback for our initial results on guidelines which will be used as prerequisite to develop Digital Material Passport (DMP) models. We will use this feedback to further improve and enhance the guidelines. We sincerely thank all participants in advance.

10/2025 - In our webinar on November 12 we will provide an overview of the Chem-X project, present details on the newly published content guidelines for the material data foundation for digital product passports, and explain how to participate in the external consultation.

07/2025 - The Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V. (VCI) recently featured our Chem-X project in an article highlighting our mission to pave the way for a circular chemical industry by building the foundation for Digital Material Passports.

06/2025 - From June 3-5, 2025, the Chem-X consortium met in Burghausen for an intensive three-day project meeting. Hosted by Wacker, all project partners came together to discuss progress, align goals, and shape the next steps.

12/2024 - With the green light from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the support of VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH, the project kicked off on December 1st, 2024.
