The funded project Chem-X has officially started! With the green light from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the support of VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH, the project kicked off on December 1st, 2024.
To mark the beginning of the two-year initiative, all consortium members gathered for a virtual kickoff meeting hosted by project coordinator BASF. During this first exchange, the team laid the groundwork for the upcoming collaboration, reviewed the overall objectives, and aligned on the next steps.
Chem-X brings together 15 partners from industry and research, working jointly to develop a secure and interoperable data ecosystem for the chemical value chain. The goal: enabling the implementation of Digital Product Passports and creating transparency across product life cycles.
